Pasting formatted text
Copy a section of a web page, a Google Doc or an email and paste it into the box. Headings, bold, links, lists and tables come across as Markdown; colours and fonts are dropped.
What doesn’t convert
Markdown has no way to write layout, colours, merged table cells or embedded videos, so those are left out. Pictures stay as links to where they were.
Your text stays with you
Everything you type, paste or open is converted on your own device. Nothing is uploaded or stored, and you don’t need an account.
