How the PDF is made
Pressing Save as PDF opens the print window with your document laid out for paper. Choose Save as PDF as the printer (on a Mac, the PDF button at the bottom left). The text stays real text, so it can be searched and copied.
Page breaks
Code blocks, tables and pictures are kept whole on one page where they fit, long code lines wrap instead of running off the page, and a long table repeats its header row on each page. The print window also lets you pick paper size and margins, and turn off the date and address lines at the top and bottom.
Which Markdown
The GitHub style of Markdown: headings, lists, links, pictures, code blocks, tables, task lists and strikethrough. Files from GitHub, Obsidian, Notion exports and most note apps read the same way.
Your text stays with you
