What can follow what
Each step takes pictures, PDFs, text or videos and gives one of them back, so the step list only offers steps that fit where you are. Some change the kind: Put into one PDF turns pictures into a PDF, Pages to pictures goes the other way, and Read the text turns pictures into text files.
Big batches
Steps work on one file at a time, so a long batch takes a while but doesn’t run out of memory. When one file fails a step, the others carry on, and the results say which file stopped and why.
What isn’t here
Steps that need your hand stay in their own tools: signing a PDF, drawing boxes over number plates, arranging pages by eye and filling in forms. Hide faces covers the faces it finds; check the result, because small or turned-away faces are sometimes missed.
Sharing a workflow
Copy a link to this workflow puts the steps and their settings in the address, never your files or passwords. The last workflow you used is also remembered on this device for next time.
Your files stay with you
Every step runs on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you don’t need an account. Close the tab and the files are gone; only the list of steps is remembered, and only on this device.
From our tests
- Batch-editing photos without uploading them: what we measured
Times, file sizes and failure handling for photo batches run on the device, laptop and iPhone-like.
- HEIF, HEIC and HIF: what the file endings actually mean
What .heif, .heic and .hif files really contain, and which ones open where, from 69 public files.
