Remove EXIF data and GPS location from photos
Add your photos and get copies with the location, camera, dates and names taken out. The picture itself is copied exactly, so nothing about how it looks changes.

JPG, PNG and WebP. As many as you like, no sign-up.
What comes off
GPS location, camera and lens details, serial numbers, dates, names, software, captions, maker notes, the hidden preview picture, and Content Credentials.
What stays
Every pixel, byte for byte, and the colour profile. A photo stored sideways keeps its Orientation tag, so it still shows the right way up. Because the picture itself doesn’t change, an invisible watermark in it, if there is one, stays too.

Nothing is saved again
Opening a photo in an editor and saving it again costs a little quality every time. This tool rewrites only the parts of the file that hold details about the photo and copies the picture data byte for byte, so the result is pixel-identical and a few kilobytes smaller.
Sideways photos stay upright
Phones often store a photo sideways, with a tag that says how to turn it. JPG and PNG copies keep that one tag, so they still show the right way up. WebP copies lose it; in our tests WebP files showed the same way with or without it.
iPhone HDR photos
Recent iPhones keep a second, hidden picture after the main one that brightens the brightest parts on HDR screens. It stays in the file, and the index that points to it is corrected so it isn’t lost. We haven’t checked whether every app still shows that extra brightness once the camera’s own notes are gone.
Your files stay with you
The images are processed on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you don’t need an account. Close the tab and they’re gone.
