Scanned pages
A scanned page is a picture of text, not text, so it comes out empty. The list tells you when a PDF had no text to take.
Layout
Text comes out in the order the PDF stores it. For most documents that is the reading order; tables and multi-column pages can come out shuffled.
Your files stay with you
Your PDFs are opened and saved on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you don’t need an account. Close the tab and they’re gone.
