One protected PDF, no sign-up.

Nothing is uploaded, and we never guess passwords. Only the password you type is tried.

  • No ads
  • No sign-up
  • No watermark
  • No daily limit
  • Nothing uploaded

Several steps, or a whole batch? Chain this with other tools in a Workflow and run them in one go.

Which password to type

A PDF can have two. The open password lets you see the pages; the permissions password controls printing, copying and editing. To remove everything, type the permissions password, or the open password when no restrictions were set.

Forgotten passwords

We don’t guess or crack passwords. Only the password you type is tried, once. If you’ve lost it, ask whoever sent the file for an unprotected copy.

What the copy keeps

Pages, text, links, bookmarks and form fields come through unchanged. Author, title, app and date details are removed, like every PDF saved here.

Your files stay with you

Your PDFs are opened and saved on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you don’t need an account. Close the tab and they’re gone.
