Where to put it
A mark in one corner is the easiest to lose: at 15% of the width, a centre crop to 4:5 or 16:9 cut it out completely in our tests. Repeated marks survive crops, and the diagonal repeat left no clean area bigger than 8% of the picture. Keep the opacity high over busy detail if copying matters to you: a see-through mark that someone knows exactly can be subtracted back out almost cleanly.
A mark people can see, nothing more
This adds pixels to the picture and nothing else. It is not an invisible watermark like SynthID, it is not Content Credentials, and it doesn’t label a picture as AI-made or camera-made. Saving also leaves out the file’s camera details, location and any Content Credentials it carried, so your visible mark is the only label left on the copy.
Logos and fonts
A PNG or SVG logo with a see-through background sits cleanly on any photo; a JPG logo brings its white box with it. Text uses the fonts on this site, Montserrat and Inter; letters they don’t cover come from your device’s own fonts.
Your files stay with you
Everything happens on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you don’t need an account. Close the tab and your files are gone.
