The JPG will be bigger
AVIF packs the same picture into far fewer bytes than JPG, so expect the copies to be several times the size. That is the price of opening everywhere.
Transparent areas get a colour
JPG has no transparency, so any clear background in the AVIF is filled with white, or with the colour you choose under Background. Use AVIF to PNG to keep it clear.
Your files stay with you
The images are processed on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you don’t need an account. Close the tab and they’re gone.
