Convert SVG to JPG

For the upload form, email or app that refuses SVG files. Pick a size and a background colour, and get JPG copies of every drawing you add.

Save as
Size

2 times the size written in the file, for sharp results on high-resolution screens.

Hard to tell apart from the drawing. Edges stay clean.

Background

JPG can’t be see-through, so empty areas get this colour.

Nothing is uploaded. Scripts inside an SVG never run here.

The background

An SVG’s empty areas are see-through, and JPG can’t store that, so they are filled with white unless you pick another colour. Match it to the page or slide the picture will sit on. If the place you’re uploading to accepts PNG, SVG to PNG keeps the see-through areas instead.

Quality

Flat colours and thin lines are where JPG shows its smudges. We start at 90, where edges stay clean; lower it only when the file has to be small.

Why the text can change

An SVG usually names its font instead of carrying it. When that font isn’t installed on your device, or the file fetches it from the web, the text is drawn in a stand-in font and the lettering shifts. Each file tells you when that will happen. The lasting fix is in your design app: turn the text into outlines before exporting the SVG.

Your files stay with you

Everything happens on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you don’t need an account. Close the tab and it’s gone.
