Add your logo as an SVG or a large image and get every icon file a site links to, the lines to paste into your page, and a zip with all of it.

SVG gives the sharpest small icons. PNG, JPG, WebP and AVIF work too; 512 pixels or larger is best.

Margin

Leave it at None for a detailed logo: at 16 pixels every pixel counts.

Background

The tab colour shows through empty areas.

Apple icon background

The 180 pixel icon for iPhone and iPad home screens gets a solid colour behind it.

Nothing is uploaded. The icons are made on your device and saved without any hidden data.

What you get

favicon.ico holds 16, 32 and 48 pixel versions for browser tabs, bookmarks and Windows. apple-touch-icon.png is the 180 pixel icon an iPhone or iPad uses when someone adds your site to the home screen. icon-192.png and icon-512.png are listed in site.webmanifest for Android and installed web apps. Start from an SVG and you also get icon.svg, which stays sharp at any size.

Start from the simplest version of your logo

At 16 pixels a wordmark turns into a grey smudge. A single letter, a symbol or the logo’s mark without its name reads far better. Look at the tab preview before you download.

Where the files go

Put them in the top folder of your site, next to the home page, and paste the lines into the head of every page. Some browsers ask for /favicon.ico on their own even when a page links nothing, so keep that one at the top level.

Your files stay with you

Everything happens on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you don’t need an account. Close the tab and it’s gone.
